This year we have received additional funding as part of the £150 million given to schools for Physical Education (PE) and sport.
St Paul’s this year (16/17) have been allocated £8900.This money is for us to improve the quality and breadth of PE and sport provision.
There are many things that we could do with this funding, but we want to use it wisely !
We have decided to develop our program of swimming and gymnastics to enable more children to access these from a younger age and develop skills and confidence. Alongside these formal sessions we are drawing on the coaching experiences of last year to enhance our PE lessons to provide a broad and balanced range of activities to suit all abilities.
